Dear Friends,

Timmy French never misses an opportunity to talk about his dirty boots and agriculture.

Never once has Timmy mentioned what he will do about protecting babies, not even the ones who survive botched abortions or are the victims of late-term abortions.

Both issues have been at the center of my legislative efforts in Virginia.

Timmy French has NOT shown voters a shred of evidence that he has engaged on any of the most pressing issues that the people of this Senate District face.

A question voters should be focusing on is this:

Is someone who has been entirely absent from public service ready to tackle the complex challenges facing our Commonwealth as a lawmaker?

There definitely is a battle raging between conservatives and liberals over our rights. Liberal legislators swear to uphold the Constitution then violate it

without hesitating for a second. Some who purport to be conservatives do the same.

Earlier this year, the Virginia Senate PASSED a Constitutional Amendment that would have removed all limits on abortion. That bill died in the House, where I serve.

Timmy doesn’t even realize there are battles going on. He has no knowledge of details or strategies. His interest in engaging has only recently emerged as he and his consultants groom his positions and remarks.

In a recent forum, Timmy and Democrat Emily Scott each said they agreed on almost all issues. Emily Scott spoke at length on her opinions regarding abortion. Timmy French did not disagree, he said nothing in reply. Here's a link to the forum video.

A week ago, a Winchester Star opinion piece from a hard-left Democrat urged voters to support all the local and legislative Democrat / Frederick First candidates. That Democrat said "...Do not vote for anyone (except maybe Timmy French) who has an “R” by their name..." Democrats make it clear they can count on Timmy to continue working with them, and against our Republican values.

Many prefer to avoid talking about whether babies have any rights. Timmy clearly is one of them. When there is no conversation, there is no progress.

Tucked away on Timmy’s website is this statement, “Timmy French will support pro-life laws.” This is the vague statement, carefully formed to avoid sounding too pro-life to his Democrat supporters.

In my open letter over three months ago, July 19 in the Winchester Star I asked Timmy French this simple question:

Timmy, “...Will you vote in support of reasonable legislation to protect all pre-born human life?”

He has never answered this very simple question.

Pro-life advocates have talked to Timmy since he was nominated (by some Republicans and many Democrats) and they don't know if Timmy French is pro-life. Others say they believe he is pro-choice, which is the self-endowed moniker abortion advocates use to describe themselves.

I agree with Timmy French that agriculture is important, and farmers deserve good representation.

So do babies.

I look forward to the day when all babies are safe. Until then I will not rest.

As your Delegate I have been, and as your Senator I will be, an advocate for agriculture. I will also continue to champion the cause of those who have little or no voice. That includes the babies who are the victims of abortion and infanticide. It also includes proposing ways to help families, vulnerable women, and promote responsible fatherhood. When the Virginia Society for Human Life endorsed me in this year's Republican Primary Election, (see below),they used this quote from Virginia’s own Thomas Jefferson, saying,

“The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the chief and only legitimate object of good government.”

I agree with Mr. Jefferson.

A leader in the fight for life, Mike Farris, endorsed me over Timmy French earlier this year, saying “...I led the legal team that helped to reverse Roe. Dave LaRock is trustworthy, 100% pro-life and is the person we need in the legislature to change hearts, minds, and laws.” Mike Farris

With the many complicated problems facing our communities, we need experienced conservative leaders in the General Assembly. Del. LaRock’s decade of consistent, conservative leadership on the issue of Life is much needed in the Virginia Senate.

PS: Timmy French appeals to Democrats, and wants to be your Senator, yet he avoids the conversation about defending babies entirely. The same is true about Second Amendment rights, and the rights of parents to raise their kids apart from liberal indoctrination.

Republicans don’t have to play along with the Democrats' plan to steal a seat in the Virginia Senate. Write-in conservative Dave LaRock now through November 7th.
