PEOPLE, PLACES AND BBQ - Poll results...

Dear Friends,

The Shenandoah Valley, from Winchester to New Market, Berryville to Front Royal, seems to get a little smaller every time I travel it. It’s about people, places, and BBQ.

The best way to hear what matters to the people of the Valley is to sit down and chat for a bit, or maybe wrestle. So that’s what Joanne and I are doing.

My informal poll asks: Will you trust my experience and solid track record to lead in the Virginia Senate.

Poll results: You’ve got my vote!

People seem to agree that EXPERIENCE MATTERS.

Here are highlights from another of our Senate District Newsletters that has more from leaders who think my legislative experience matters. You can read the entire newsletter here if you didn't get it in the mail. Below are a couple of excerpts....

VOTERS MUST DECIDE: WHEN EXPERIENCE MATTERS

When you’re choosing a doctor, a contractor, a financial advisor, or a daycare provider... you look at references, reviews and a track record.

You can expect professionals who stand on a solid reputation to serve you well.

When choosing a legislator to make important decisions on your behalf, consider that a track record is the best indicator of future performance.

There is a crowded field of candidates running to be the Republican nominee for the First Senate District.

Dave’s opponents offer WORDS. They are talking about themselves.

People who know the job of representing others, speak for Dave.

“TRACK RECORD IS THE BEST INDICATOR OF FUTURE PERFORMANCE.”

SAGE'S STORY - PART TWO

Sage was a vulnerable child who was groomed into gender confusion by her school, abused at her school by other students, and advised by her school to hide it all from her mom, Michelle. Sage was kidnapped, sex trafficked twice and kept from her parents by a judge who sided with those pushing the cult of adolescent transgenderism. Sage was eventually found and wanted to go home. Finally safe at home, Sage said, “I don’t know what I was, but I was never a boy.” If that is not enough of a nightmare, imagine that you may not be reunited with your broken child and could even be charged with a crime if you do not go along with your young girl’s new gender identity. This nightmare was reality for Sage and her family. Sage is healing from her ordeal and is happy to help others avoid what she went through. Sage was excited to watch the bill go through the 2023 Session and has said she hopes to join the Governor when Sage’s Law is signed into law in Virginia.

“Virginia Democrats proposed to make it a crime to “misgender” a child. Two other states have passed laws allowing children to be taken from their parents and given drugs and medical treatment while withholding information from parents. Sage’s Law, once passed will protect parents who affirm their child’s biological sex. When elected to the Senate, I will fight to make sure our children are protected from this abuse.” –Dave LaRock
