WDC Liberal Heavy-Hitters Bring Raw Deal Rollout to HD33

Dear friend,

Some people just refuse to learn from history. The New Deal prolonged the Great Depression, so the liberal folks who have kept our nation mired in the Washington D.C. swamp want to double down on a proven failure and hope for a different outcome?

This week, U.S. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer of New York, U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California, along with other liberal leaders from places like Massachusetts and Minnesota, invaded a small-town park in Berryville, Virginia, right in the heart of the 33rd District, on a sunny summer afternoon.

My opponent for this Delegate seat was there drinking the Kool-Aid, cheering them on, and getting a shout-out from the liberal national leaders.

Much of what they promised could have been right out of a Trump stump speech: economic growth, better jobs, better health care, etc.... The problem is they don’t have a clue about how to keep their promises. Their flawed answer is more government, more taxes, less freedom. History makes it clear government intrusion stifles the economy. A $15/hr. minimum wage, more federal government meddling in health care and higher education, and other liberal ideas won't bring economic growth.

Small businesses free to nurture innovation and hard work are the core of the free-market system that has made America great. Under Gov. McAuliffe, Virginia has lagged behind the rest of the nation in economic recovery, and we need to embrace the tax, regulation, education, and other reforms I and other Republicans support to improve our economy and opportunity for all Virginians.

Earlier this week, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) released their 2017 scorecard of legislators' voting record on key small business issues during the past two sessions of the General Assembly: I received a 100% rating.

The differences between my opponent and me are clear, and I can't keep representing you without your help. My opponent continued to out-raise me in fundraising last month.

Please contribute today.

Reelect me to keep a strong Republican majority in the Richmond Statehouse working to grow the economy and give you a solid return from your tax dollars.

Sincerely,

PS: Please don’t think it’s safe to sit on the sidelines and expect to enjoy the return to economic prosperity that is inching back under the leadership of our new president and his administration.

I need your vote on November 7th!
