Second, thank you to my faithful ally and assistant, Daniel Davies. Daniel is dedicated to the hard work of helping others solve problems, from minutia to the big injustices that plague us.
Thank you to those who have entrusted me with this enormous honor and responsibility as their Delegate and those would have allowed me to be their senator and to those who have prayed tirelessly, shared time or treasure so generously. My only regret is uncertainty that comes with not being sure these wonderful people will be well represented in their state government at a time when we all crave stability, integrity, and leadership.
Lastly, thank you to those who live within the immediate reach of the French kingdom and still chose to make what I’ll call a well-reasoned obvious decision in favor of my true conservative representation.
Reflection
Coming up short in a fair and truthful contest would be so much easier. Instead, we had a corrupted process leading to an outcome which deprives many true Republicans of representation by a person of their own choosing.
It was clear to me an 8-way race would be a challenge and that the vote split between candidates and regions would play heavily into the outcome. That played out and more.
We deserve the government we elect. Cheating assures we will get less than we deserve.
Election Day
I was excited by the amazing show of support in the morning on Election Day and into the early afternoon. In six elections, I have never experienced voter after voter telling me in clear, sometimes quiet spoken words, that they were LaRock voters. Then, mid-afternoon on Election Day, the Democrats showed up in significant numbers along with the anti-Republicans who’ve named themselves Frederick First (FF). The FF anti-Republicans functioned openly with Team Timmy, sporting FF shirts, restocking Timmy handouts, manning polls and lying to voters about me. At that point, our best hope was to encourage true Republicans to show up in numbers great enough to overpower Timmy and his allies the cheaters.
