As the Virginia Democrats move toward dismantling the foundations of liberty which were birthed in Virginia, patriotic citizens are not retreating. Parental Rights - Vaccinations

Virginia, there is a pre-filed bill on the table that will emancipate children to make medical decisions regarding vaccinations without parental consent.

However you feel about vaccines, this is about parental rights.

The government is trying to come in between parents and their children. We have the right to have input on our children’s medical care. This is a complete overstep. No one knows children better than their parents do. More information is available here....

Loudoun Schools Fundraising for the LGBT Extremists

If you are the old-fashioned type like me, when you think of schools, you think of academics and maybe sports. Fast forward to today. Taking a look at the category of :

THINGS YOUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE DOING WITH YOUR TAX DOLLARS

The hideous and often demonic-looking misfits called Drag Queens, who have recently found a niche in kid’s story hours in public libraries (funded with tax dollars), are the featured entertainment in a fundraising event hosted at Northern Virginia Community College (also funded with tax dollars). The proceeds of all this will go to DC Pride, an organization that promotes preferential treatment for sexually deviant activity (in schools funded with our tax dollars).

Promotional emails advertising for this Drag Queen fundraising event were sent out to parents of Loudoun Public School Parents through the school email network, (also funded with your tax dollars).

Parent and Child Loudoun will be meeting on January 13th; topics include: Drag Queen Fundraiser, Chromebooks, Diversity Books, Impact of Policy 1040, Family Life Education and hear from newly elected LCPS School Board Member, John Beatty! Light refreshments will be served.

BUDGET WINDFALLS:

INTERNET TAXES - much more than anticipated is being collected.
SWEEP & KEEP $360 million in taxpayer relief from the Trump tax cut. These funds will not be returned to Virginia Tax payers.
NEW TAX ON ELECTRONIC GAMES OF SKILL [slot machines] Another tax windfall estimated $125 million, earmarked for schools.

NEW TAXES:

GAS TAX INCREASE (for transportation infrastructure - no proposed lock box for funds).
CIGARETTE TAX - increased 30 cents per pack - to create state-run healthcare reinsurance fund replacing an Obamacare provision that was repealed.
Work toward a future 'TRACK and TAX' on DRIVERS - miles traveled user fee.
NO PROPOSED TAX CUTS.
Eliminates Taxpayer Relief Fund created just months ago.

NEW SPENDING:

$1.2 billion in education. One of the largest new investments in K-12 ever proposed in Virginia.
$145 million tuition-free community college grant program.
$733 million for climate change, environment, Chesapeake Bay.
$92 million in new funding to address housing affordability, eviction rates, and supportive housing.
$94.8 million in new funding for early childhood education.
$22 million to combat maternal and infant mortality and reduce the racial disparity in Virginia’s maternal mortality rate.
$200 million slush fund for the General Assembly.

Doing a quick overview of these was as much fun as sticking a fork in an outlet…with wet hands. They fall into a few obvious categories.

4. Eco-extremists are setting goals to phase out fossil fuels and commit vast amounts of resources to feel-good energy at the expense of electric consumers, drivers and just about everyone. Virginia's State Corporation Commission found that the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), a regional carbon tax scheme that charges utilities for the right to emit gasses like carbon dioxide, would cost Virginians $5.9 billion over 10 years, raising residential power bills by 10 percent.

RGGI has little, if any, impact on overall carbon emissions, according to the Congressional Research Service (CRS). "From a practical standpoint, the RGGI program’s contribution to directly reducing the global accumulation of GHG [Green House Gas] emissions in the atmosphere is arguably negligible," CRS wrote, noting that the program's impact is more political than environmental.
