Dear Friends,
I hope you all are enjoying your summer. Things get busier every day for me as I balance faith, family, personal work, being a delegate, and campaigning for re-election. But I’m thankful for it all!

My newest (#7) grand-baby, Conrad Michael LaRock, born last week
On the campaign front, we keep an eye on who is working to elect my opponent, a pro-Obama Democrat who’ll no doubt side against the cause of life with Governor McAuliffe and Attorney General Mark Herring.
My opponent’s largest donor last period was Leesburg attorney Woody Turner,
$3,377.
Turner’s name is familiar to many from his ties to AG Herring. This is no coincidence; they want me out!
Please consider making a donation to help my team push on to victory this fall!
In the 2015 session, I introduced a bill which would protect babies who can feel pain. You and I all know what it’s like for a child to feel pain. We’ve seen it, and we felt it ourselves when we were children. When we know that a child is being subjected to excruciating pain and we can stop it, we should.
Planned Parenthood is in the news as you probably know. There are videos of their executives discussing gruesome practices that turn aborted baby’s bodies into a product for sale. When the 20 Week Protection Bill passes in Virginia, it will help block this horrendous activity.
I look forward to continuing the fight to protect the unborn even though it makes me a target of those who side with Planned Parenthood.
Randy Minchew and I spoke out for the unborn in the Winchester Star, and, believe me, this is just the beginning of a push to block your tax dollars from going to line the pockets of the abortion promoters at Planned Parenthood.
Dave

PS This is what National Right to Life had to say about our effort to protect innocent human life:
“We are deeply grateful to the bill’s chief patron, Delegate Dave LaRock, for his serious and heartfelt effort to trying to pass this bill this year. We know that his commitment to protecting unborn children will continue in future years at the General Assembly. Please send him your gratitude!”
